Pondering A Little Bit with Seth

They say confession is good for the soul. I would agree, but I would also say confession is between you and your journal. Or God. Other people should not be involved. As I’m a Catholic, I am supposed to go to confession on a more or less regular basis. I believe it’s been about 43 years, give or take. And, no, I don’t believe I’m going to hell. But if it makes you right with God, then go ahead.

The thing is, it takes a really understanding priest (and I have met some) who would understand me and that what I do is not sinning, in any way, shape, or form. I just talk to dead guys.

Actually, since I’m a writer, I ought to write some books where the heroine or hero is perceived as a total loser. Then, they redeem themselves in the eyes of their accusers…. in some way, and all is right in their world. Could I squeeze 80,000 words out of something like that? I could try. Or could something like that turn into a trilogy? Best to keep it at one book and then, if it looks like it wants to be more, make that decision later rather than earlier.

What about adventures? You’d need a few to pepper into the story.

It sounds like you are cooking.

Well, I am hungry, and I do like food. So, pepper is a good word.

If you say so.

I have to say something to my readers. If you are reading my stuff for the first time, you might need to know that I’m talking to my Spirit Guide, Seth, right now. I always put whatever he says in bold italics.

What about if we co-wrote something?

Really?

Just for fun. Just to see what would happen. If you don’t like it, we can abandon the project. All of your projects are so determined, so terribly important. This would be for fun. Do you know how funny you look when you purse your lips and frown while I am talking?

Yes, folks, that’s me right now. Okay, so nothing is hanging in the balance on this working out well. If I don’t like it, then we don’t publish it.

Yes. If this is how you wish to proceed, you can count me in.

I guess if you are going to collaborate with somebody, you could write something, and then the other person could write the next chapter.

….A Day has Passed…And, here I am again. Not sure why I left this unfinished. Something happened, I suppose. Whatever it was, I can’t remember.

Anyway, we were talking about collaborating on something.

Yes?

We could start with some Daily Channeling for my other website, Talking to Spirit.

If you wish.

You’re being accommodating.

We aim to please, Dear.

Right.

You don’t believe me?

Yes, I do. It’s just you're not so chatty this morning.

Excuse me?

Sorry. Seth, is that you?

Yes, Dear.

I read something a few minutes ago by a lady on Substack. If you'd like to have a look at her she writes at Letters of Encouragement. At the end of the article, I could have sworn she was channeling. It’s like we do yet, she didn’t have an explanatory note that was what she was doing.

Perhaps, she was talking to herself.

No, I don’t think so. I wanted to leave her a comment, but only paid subscribers could do that. Which is something I could do with my own Substack stuff as well. Of course, nobody has ever left a comment, so why bother?

Do as you mean to go on.

You sound like an old aunt.

Okay, everybody. I’m going to tie this off here. Seth and I’ve got roads to travel today. I’m looking forward to the journey. Be sure to check out the links below and come back to my author’s pages to see more.

Thanks for reading.
